Chantal Quiniou Biography
Lawyer with over 20 years experience in business law having practiced in private practice, in university setting (McGill), and in industry (Pfizer Canada) mainly in the innovation sector. She has practiced in litigation at the beginning of her career for 4 years. Holder of a BSc in biology and a D.E.S.S. in the development of medicines from the faculty of pharmacy of University of Montreal, she has developed an expertise in the health sector, pharma and biotech, providing her services to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and to the drug industry including CROs along with providing more generally her services in commercial law and new technologies to a wide range of companies from SMEs to international companies.
She is client oriented providing tailored services. She carries out mandates upon request, or may act as an in-house lawyer to overcome the lack of personnel or expertise in a legal department. She does not only act as a lawyer but as a business partner supporting the client in risk management (reputation, regulatory, technology related risk, litigation and contracts). Her approach is one of close collaboration in order to find pragmatic, efficient, affordable and appropriate solutions adapted to the client in order to achieve its objectives. She can rely upon a solid network of collaborators in order to meet client’s needs.
